Say No To Match-Fixing - Recognise Resist and Report

The Malta Football Players Association is firmly committed to supporting efforts aimed at fighting match-fixing and any illicit behaviour that tarnishes the integrity of football.

On Wednesday, Carlo Mamo, the MFPA General Secretary, gave a talk about the Red Button App to the first-team players and coaching staff of BOV Premier League club Santa Lucia F.C.

The Red Button App is a FIFPRO-owned web application designed specifically as an anonymous reporting mechanism, thus encouraging players to report a match-fixing approach while remaining anonymous. This is done by entering a unique code that was presented to the Santa Lucia players during Wednesday’s event which was also addressed by Dr. Herman Mula, the MFA Integrity Officer.

The MFPA thanks the Malta Football Association for their cooperation and Santa Lucia FC for their willingness to be part of this initiative.
