MFPA teamed up with MFA and held a seminar about the dangers of match-fixing

24th March 2016

MFPA and MFA organised an educational seminar to the U/17 national team and delivered match-fixing prevention presentations. The seminar focused on educating players to raise awareness of the dangers of match-fixing. Players were made aware of the risks involved in engaging in match manipulation and how they can protect themselves if approached. Players were encouraged to practice the 3 Rs:

- RECOGNISE what is happening
- REJECT it; and
- REPORT it

The consequences of not doing the above means a RED CARD FOR LIFE. Video also available - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=29My1LXOiRI&feature=youtu.be
