In 2016, MFPA and MFA collaborated and held an educational seminar targeted at the U/17 national team. The seminar focused on shedding light to the many dangers of match-fixing. Players were made aware of the risks involved in engaging in match manipulation and how best to protect themselves if approached. Players were made aware of, and encouraged to practice the 3 Rs: RECOGNISING what is happening, REJECTING the illicit offer and REPORTING it to the authorities. MFPA’s active campaign against match fixing is entitled; Say No to Match-Fixing.
