The Malta Football Players Association officially opens the voting system for the MFPA Awards 2022. The first award open is a new one for this year’s edition - MFPA Best Amateur League Player.

The nominees were chosen by the Amateur League coaches and the latter couldn’t candidate players from their own team. The 7 final nominees are:

Bledi Alla - Attard FC
Karl Azzopardi - Gharghur FC
Ivan Bojovic - Zurrieq FC
Adrian Carabott - Marsaskala FC
Jean Pierre Mifsud Triganza - Zabbar St. Patrick FC
Nicholas Schembri - Attard FC
Timothy Thomas - Zurrieq FC

Voting is open for all footballers that play for an Amateur League team. However, teammates are not allowed vote for each other. Furthermore, one has to be an MFPA member to be eligible to vote.

The MFPA Awards will be held on the 9th of May, 2022 at the Aviation Museum in Ta’ Qali and will be televised.
