FIFPro is the worldwide representative organization for all professional players; more than 65,000 footballers in total. FIFPRO is the exclusive collective international voice of the world's footballers.

To become a member it's free. To become a PREMIUM member the cost is €30 per year.

All active professional football players, ex-professional Maltese football players, active amateur football players who are at least sixteen (16) years of age, who currently play or used to play with any football team that is registered with the Malta Football Association,can join the Association. In addition also active Maltese national football players playing abroad can join the Association.

MFPA membership comes with direct and indirect benefits. Direct benefits include:

• Substantial discounts from our sponsors such as 30% from Teamsport.
• Legal assistance during disputes or during contract negotiation stages.
• Guidance and assistance with regards to complex sport regulations.
• Educational opportunities ans scholarships, including an array of courses.
• Training camp for ‘out of contract’ players which is held between June and July of each season.

The more indirect and perhaps more substantial benefits include, MFPA’s continuous work to advance the conditions of players as workers. Without player’s mandate to continue advocating for player’s rights, the Association would not be able to continue, and players in Malta would once again lose their only voice. As a player you need the Association and as an Association MFPA needs you.
