The MFPA is closely monitoring the developments regarding the report/s filed with the Malta Football Association about alleged misconduct by the national team coach.        

The MFPA is in direct and regular contact with the national team players who have been offered any kind of assistance they may need through our legal, educational, financial and wellbeing support services.

The MFPA understands that the situation is difficult for everyone but we trust that the inquiry will be conducted in a timely manner. We also appeal for caution in refraining from unnecessary speculation about the identity of the persons involved. In the meantime, the MFPA stands in solidarity with the players who have come forward.
