The Malta Football Players Association held a meeting with the Parliamentary Secretary responsible for Sport, Mr. Clyde Puli. During this cordial meeting, the union informed the Parliamentary Secretary who was accompanied by Mr. Angelito Sceberras of its initiative and plans in football. MFPA also explained the difficulties being faced by local footballers and sports persons as well as the specific prevailing situation whereby the MFA and its clubs has not yet extended any recognition to football players being organised in unions and their associations and reminded that this prevailed in every country.
