MFPA has yesterday during the MFA council meeting been officially recognised by the Malta Football Association. After almost 1 year from its creation the MFPA has finally been recognised by maltese clubs as the sole representative of players.

MFPA would like to thank MFA delegates, club members but most of all the players who believed in this association. Without the players support the association couldn't be created. From now on there is a lot of work to do but MFPA believes that with social dialogue between all parties involved in football , maltese football can drastically improve.

On the 8th of May a get together for the first division and Premier team captains and another player from each team will be held at Extra Time Grill and Sports Restaurant Mosta to discuss the way forward.
